New BENCH and BOOT protocols for Bosch EDC17C49 ECUs – Off-highway machinery and trucks.
With KESS3, work on Bosch EDC17C49 ECUs fitted to a wide range of professional diesel vehicles.
With this update, KESS3 enables you to read and write ECUs on agricultural machinery, telehandlers and commercial vehicles equipped with Bosch EDC17C49 ECUs, fitted to diesel engines from 1.5 to 3.6 litres, from 2009 onwards.
The new BENCH protocol provides access to the ECU directly through its connector, without opening it.
The BOOT protocol provides direct access to the memories with the ECU opened, for more in-depth operations.
Both connection methods support cloning by transferring data from one ECU to another compatible unit. This solution is particularly useful for repair operations, expanding your options for working on numerous heavy-duty vehicles used in sectors such as agriculture and material handling.
Real benefits for your workshop:
- Access the circuit board directly with the BOOT protocol when necessary.
- Work directly through the ECU connector in BENCH mode, without opening the unit.
- Cloning available in both modes
With KESS3, expand your options for working on off-highway vehicles from different brands and generations, equipped with 1.5, 2.3, 3.0, 3.4 and 3.6-litre diesel engines.
