New ECM Titanium Driver update for Temic DQ250 Exx and Temic DQ250 MQB TCU: improve your workshop's efficiency.

Our Driver development team has enhanced the management maps for the current and target pressure for the two clutches, along with the related limiters, enabling a much sharper and quicker gear shift in combination with changes to the shift time maps. This also helps reduce clutch slippage when working with significantly increased power levels.

Additionally, maps that determine the individual gear ratios have been added. Working on these parameters is crucial in racing or repair scenarios, especially when replacing the transmission with a different mechatronic unit. Thanks to this update, it is now possible to adapt a transmission with slightly different ratios by simply modifying these maps with the replacement values, allowing the TCU to recalculate the corresponding values for each gear ratio, despite different mechanics.

But that’s not all: to make this update even more exclusive and effective, especially for heavily modified vehicles, maps regulating the current to the pressure control valves in case of slip (microslip and macroslip) have been added. By carefully adjusting these parameters, it is possible to solve the problem by applying greater pressure in critical conditions.
