Work in BENCH mode on the most long-standing and widespread Mercedes trucks.
18.02.2026 – Upgrade 2.90
KESS3 expands operational possibilities on European trucks with a new protocol dedicated to Mercedes-Benz Truck vehicles. It is now possible to operate in BENCH mode on the Continental HDEP MCM2.1 HW D4 and D5 ECU, installed on OM engines from 5.1L up to 15.6L, produced from 2012 onwards.
We are talking about extremely robust and reliable vehicles, still widely present on roads all over the world. BENCH mode represents a concrete advantage for workshops: direct access to ECU data without opening the unit, reduced processing times and greater profitability for each intervention.
An update that enhances daily work on high-mileage heavy-duty vehicles, offering an efficient solution for models that continue to generate demand for service and optimization.
