The special functions that can be modified using the new updated drivers for MED17.5.21 and MED17.5.25 are the following:
Thanks to the introduction of fuel cut management maps, it is possible to delay the intervention of this function to obtain the effect of the explosions (pops and bangs) when the accelerator is released.
In addition to delaying the fuel cut, it is necessary to intervene on the advance maps in order to obtain the best possible effect, for this reason all the necessary maps of this category are now available in the drivers:
To the standard maps that allow you to increase the rev limiter, the possibility of working on the rev limiter for non-moving vehicles (when the vehicle is not moving) has also been introduced, which is set at a very low value for anti-pollution regulations, this map also works on vehicles with automatic gearbox (the limiter in this case is active when the gearbox is in position D or N)
These maps allow the installation of a direct exhaust system (without catalyst), preventing the appearance of DTCs and warning lights / engine failure.
