New OBD and BENCH protocols for Motorola EMS 10 – Scania.

KESS3 now also supports Motorola EMS 10 ECUs via OBD and BENCH, installed on Scania R-Series and S-Series from 2019 onwards, with DC13 12.7 l6 and DC16 16.4 V8 engines.

Together with the already available BOOT mode, KESS3 now completes the ECU access modes, allowing workshops to choose the most suitable method based on the type of operation.

With the new OBD access, you can read and write the ECU directly through the vehicle’s diagnostic port, speeding up operations.
BENCH mode further expands the available options for more complex operations that require access to the ECU’s complete content, without opening the control unit.
