New OBD protocol for Bosch ZF AL551/8HP55 TCU – Audi and Volkswagen.

With this update, KESS3 and Powergate allow you to work in OBD mode on Bosch ZF AL551/8HP55 TCUs, providing a direct and practical connection for reading and writing Tiptronic automatic transmissions fitted to a wide range of Audi and Volkswagen applications. These units equip cars and SUVs produced from 2008 through to post-2020 models, paired with 2.5 FSI, 4.2 V8 FSI, 6.3 W12 FSI, 2.0 TFSI, 3.0 V6 TFSI, 4.0 V8 TFSI and 3.0 TDI engines.

A solution designed for working on automatic transmissions fitted to sports and high-performance models as well. The diagnostic-port connection simplifies operations, reduces the steps required to access the TCU and makes the read and write workflow fast and straightforward.
