New BENCH protocol for Continental SIMOS18.X – VAG.

Installed on 1.8 and 2.0 TSI and TFSI EA888 turbo petrol engines from 2010, Continental SIMOS18.X ECUs can now also be managed in BENCH mode, in addition to the already supported OBD and BOOT modes.

With this update, KESS3 enables direct access to the ECU from the connector, without opening it.

A fast, controlled solution designed for everyday workshop needs, for both repair operations and performance optimization.

This new operating possibility is designed to provide greater flexibility when working on widely used VAG platforms, from sporty compact cars to high-performance SUVs, while maintaining a reliable and repeatable workflow throughout every programming phase.
