New OBD and BENCH protocols for Keihin 38770-MKC – Honda.

Thanks to these protocols, you can now choose the workflow best suited to the operation.

KESS3 OBD mode allows you to work directly from the vehicle’s diagnostic port and also supports Powergate, while BENCH mode provides direct access to the Keihin 38770-MKC ECU directly from the connector, without opening it.

Installed on Honda Gold Wing models with 1800cc engines from 2018, this ECU is now supported in dual connection mode: both OBD and BENCH.

A release designed to let you work with greater flexibility on a high-end touring platform, where smoothness, engine response and delivery quality are key elements for riding comfort and intervention precision.
