Work in BOOT mode on heavy-duty natural gas trucks.

KESS3 completes its developments for heavy-duty vehicles by introducing a new protocol dedicated to European CNG-powered trucks, specifically on Iveco Stralis models. It is now possible to operate in BOOT mode, with ECU cloning capability, on the Metatron MF4 ECU installed on 8.7L and 12.9L engines produced from 2019 onwards.
Natural gas fuel systems are becoming increasingly widespread in the heavy-duty sector and require appropriate tools and expertise. The possibility to clone the ECU represents a key added value for workshops, especially in the event of ECU replacement or critical fault management, ensuring operational continuity and reduced vehicle downtime.
An update that strengthens KESS3’s approach also on alternative-fuel trucks, offering concrete solutions for a constantly evolving market.
