KESS3 Protocols Releases
Development continues on ZF8HP automatic transmissions installed on high-performance vehicles.
20.03.2026 — Upgrade 2.99
Thanks to this update, KESS3 now allows intervention via OBD on the Bosch ZF8HP75 TCU, the transmission used on the most sporty and performance-oriented Alfa Romeo models from 2016 onwards.
On these configurations paired with the 2.9 V6 biturbo engine, designed to handle high torque levels, TCU programming allows workshops to work on gear-shift logic, transmission-side torque management, and software recovery, maintaining consistency between engine power delivery and transmission behaviour.
Work precisely on the highest-performance applications of the Alfa Romeo platform as well as on Aston Martin V12 vehicles (2021), aligning transmission calibration with the modifications applied to the engine ECU.
