ECM Titanium Drivers Updates

New ECM Titanium Drivers for Denso GEN IV ECUs – Toyota.

Power and calibration precision for Toyota’s 3.5 VVT-iE V6 TwinTurbo engines.

With this update, the Driver Development department expands the intervention possibilities on Toyota’s Denso R7F702002 V35A-FTS GEN IV ECUs, offering all the tools for complete and precise management. Perfect both for high-performance Stage 1 tuning and for more advanced configurations. The protagonists are Japanese SUVs and off-road vehicles, machines that combine power and versatility, capable of tackling even the toughest terrains without compromise.

Thanks to ECM Titanium, it is now possible to achieve significant increases in torque and power: the ideal solution to handle even the most demanding uses.

Why does this update make a difference?

With the new Drivers, you can rely on a full set of maps and dedicated functions:

VVT management: Act on dual variable valve timing (dual VVT) to adjust valve overlap. Less overlap at low rpm increases torque, while more overlap at high rpm ensures stronger top-end performance.

Torque management: Complete torque maps, including corrections related to temperatures (IAT, ECT) and gear-dependent limitations. Also available are requested torque maps to customize throttle pedal response: steeper for a reactive drive, smoother for progressive delivery.

Turbo management: Increase turbo pressure through dedicated limiters. Stock pressures, relatively modest (0.7–1.2 bar depending on version), can now be pushed to new performance levels.

Ignition timing management: All ignition advance maps available, including minimum advance, for full control and more extreme setups if required.

Lambda management: Optimize fueling to ensure a richer mixture, essential on Euro 6 vehicles equipped with complex after-treatment systems.

Rail pressure: Direct injection allows intervention on fuel pressure to improve power delivery fullness, paying particular attention not to exceed limits to avoid detonation phenomena.
