ECM Titanium Drivers update
The latest updates from the Driver development department focus on the Peugeot brand, with two main stars: the compact 208 and the larger 308 GTI, both symbols of the latest generation of French sportiness. Two cars designed to deliver excitement, capable of combining fun and versatility thanks to an elastic yet punchy engine, always ready to perform at its best both on the road and on the track.
However, the same 1.6 THP is not exclusive to the sportier versions: it has also been adopted on numerous other Peugeot models and across several vehicles of the group. This widespread use significantly increases tuning opportunities, making these units attractive not only for those seeking maximum performance but also for those who want a more balanced calibration for everyday use.
ECUs targeted by this development:
On Bosch MG1CS042 and MEVD17.4.2 ECUs, the additional functionalities introduced expand the tuning possibilities by providing all the necessary maps for stage 1 and 2 calibrations.
For Bosch MG1CS042 ECU:
Catalyst heating: can be disabled when installing racing components such as a decat downpipe, preventing excessive exhaust temperatures or cold-start noise.
Thermostat opening temperature threshold: direct management of the electronic thermostat, with the option of lowering the opening temperature to keep the engine cooler.
Exhaust gas temperature (EGT): dedicated maps to anticipate the activation of the component protection lambda, adjusting fueling and safety.
For Bosch MEVD17.4.2 ECU:
Thermostat opening management: precise control via duty cycle, allowing fine adjustment of coolant temperature.
Fan activation: ability to customize the activation thresholds of the cooling fans.
E85 conversion: 20% fueling increase, with dedicated maps for cold start and injector management.
Overrun: full management of pops & bangs for sportier applications.
